Making the Journey Count

- Since 2010 -

We are Jade and Oli

It all started back in 2010 when Oli and I met on the beach in Vietnam. We met travelling and basically haven’t stopped since.

It’s been 7 years of adventure and we set up Journey Count as a way to document all that we were doing and to try to help others discover the joy of the journey too.

We are currently living the digital nomad life in Hanoi, Vietnam and taking weekend adventures as often as we can. We also have a dog, his name is Jimi and he loves adventure too.

So, pick up a drink, settle in and look around. We hope you enjoy the journey!

Camping in Vietnam: Xuan Son National Park

Bringing our camping equipment back to Vietnam was the best decision we could have made. We love homestays in Vietnam; they are one of those experiences we recommend to everyone coming to travel here. But there are so many wild, out of the way places throughout the...

Camping in Vietnam: Pu Luong Nature Reserve

Our independence weekend adventures didn't end in Thung Nai. It was only Saturday and we had all our camping equipment from Son TInh ready to go. We headed away from the boat dock in Thung Nai back the same way we had come the day before, along the beautifully winding...
