We are Jade and Oli
It all started back in 2010 when Oli and I met on the beach in Vietnam. We met travelling and basically haven’t stopped since.
It’s been 7 years of adventure and we set up Journey Count as a way to document all that we were doing and to try to help others discover the joy of the journey too.
We are currently living the digital nomad life in Hanoi, Vietnam and taking weekend adventures as often as we can. We also have a dog, his name is Jimi and he loves adventure too.
So, pick up a drink, settle in and look around. We hope you enjoy the journey!

Living in Vietnam, you won’t get very far without renting, buying or borrowing a bike. Whether you go for a giant automatic that resembles a spaceship, a classic traveller Win or Wave or something in between, you quickly become accustomed to zipping down tiny alleys...read more

These year reviews are some of my favourite blogs to write. Not only do I love looking back over the last 12 months, but it is so interesting to see how we thought the journey of 2016 would play out and then how it really did. We presumed we’d come to Vietnam, work,...read more
Oli and I have been to Mai Chau twice now, and have driven through a third time on the way to Pu Luong. Yet, I've not written about it until now which is a disservice to what an amazing destination it is. Going through my pictures in preparation for this post, I could...read more
